Of upmost importance, not.

When my tresses reach a certain length, there is that customary itch to want to cut it off, making way for perhaps a medium bob, if not shorter. It has nothing to do with fashion nor trends nor atrocious weather, just the need for a fresher look and the determination for a fuss-free, neat feel.

I have reached that stage of my time with my long hair, and I know though that if I do eventually chop them off I will soon regret because I miss flipping them, and the cycle continues.

So much fuss for a simple thing. Vanity, it is.
